Toned triceps and tight inner thighs — I know you want ’em because this was the runner up workout you wanted to see on the blog from a recent poll I took {reader’s first choice was this yoga + hiit workout}!
I put together 7 exercises, both strength and heart-raising plyometric exercises, that specifically target the inner thighs and triceps.
But before you grab a pair of medium dumbbells and get ready to tone and tighten at-home, you may want to check out Vital Proteins new collagen products…because they’ve launched a new collagen coffee creamer!
If you like to enjoy a cup of coffee before {and after} your morning workout like me, this is great news. I’m sharing more on Vital Proteins new product release, and how they are sponsoring my trip to the Dominican Republic with The Her Initiative, below.
This thighs and triceps workout for women consists of 7 exercises. You’ll alternate strength exercises with plyometric exercises to raise your heart rate and build muscle. This workout tones and targets common trouble areas — inner thighs and triceps.
Perform the number of repetitions {16 reps / 14 reps / 12 reps} or timed intervals {40 sec / 30 sec / 20 sec} next to each exercise. Using a medium set of dumbbells {pictured here using 10 lb dumbbells}.
Repeat the entire workout x 3 sets, dropping timed intervals with each set.
See video above for complete workout and proper exercise form.
It’s no secret that I have an on-going partnership with Vital Proteins. I’m a big fan of including collagen in my daily diet to support the health of my bones, joints, skin, hair, nails and gut.
When Vital Proteins launches new products I’m always excited to try them. I’m always looking for new ways to incorporate collagen into my daily routine! I’ve been adding the unflavored collagen peptides and vanilla collagen peptides to my coffee for over a year, but now Vital Proteins has actual coffee creamer collagen — in three different flavors:
I’ve tried the Coconut Collagen Coffee Creamer and I liked it. But I’m a die hard heavy cream in my coffee type of gal so to be honest, I’m sticking with the unflavored collagen peptides and heavy cream in my coffee. But the Coconut Collagen Coffee Creamer had now made its way into all of my mid-afternoon matcha lattes!
And there’s more than just coffee creamers to get excited about. Additional new products include:

The countdown is on, T-10 days till I’m heading to Santo Domingo, DR with The Her Initiative. While I can’t believe I’m going to leave my baby boy for 5 whole days {GAH}, I’m excited to be part of a trip that will bring clean water, health + hygiene to women in Santo Domingo. An extra special thank you to vital proteins for sponsoring my trip.
If you’ve been following Nourish Move Love for some time you know that The Her Initiative holds a special place in my heart. I teamed up with some Minneapolis bloggers, Fit Foodie Finds and The Real Food Dietitians, to host the first Fit for Her event in Minneapolis 2 years ago {you can see pics from the very first Fit for Her event here}. The second annual Fit for Her Minneapolis event took place in February of this year {when I was 34 weeks preggo, see the video highlight reel below}.
Between these two events Minneapolis has raised over $10K for The Her Initiative {can I get a heck yes?!}!
Clean water is something I take for granted on a daily basis. And being immersed in a culture where something essential, like clean water, isn’t always available will be an eye-opening experience.
I’m excited to share this experience with you and bring awareness to the global water crisis affecting so many around the world. I’m traveling to the DR November 10-14th with a group of women, including Stacie and Jess from The Real Food Dietitians. Although I won’t have internet access to share the trip live, I’ll be sure to recap my experience on the blog in the coming weeks.
