I’ve joined forces with Old Navy to challenge you to do this Super 7 Core Workout.

It’s 7 exercises, 12 repetitions per exercise x 3 sets. You can do this entire ab workout in 7 minutes or less, making it the perfect addition to round out any workout.

I should say the perfect way to round out any workout in my opinion, because my husband would prefer to start his workout with this ab workout. While I personally love ending my workouts with a core series like this one, my hubby is all about starting his workouts with a core workout. It makes for quite the predicament when we workout together. 

But since I do like starting my workouts with a little plank work to warm up my core, shoulders and legs we typically compromise by starting our workout with planks and ending with something like this Super 7 Core Workout.

These are some of my favorite abdominal exercises carefully combined to target both the upper and lower abs while also engaging the obliques for a total core workout.

The Workout: Super 7 Core Workout

Sculpt your midsection by performing 12 repetitions of each exercise, per side as needed, x 3 sets. No equipment needed, so you can do this entire workout anytime, anywhere!

  1. Ab Kick Through’s
  2. plank hip taps
  3. roll up + toe touch
  4. snowball + snow angel
  5. plank toe taps
  6. side plank oblique crunch
  7. butterfly crunches

  1. I prefer to do abs at the end of a workout too. I love these moves and will definitely try them out tomorrow. And I these workout clothes are so cute, I always forget out Old Navy.
