Morning Yoga Routine: 8 Energizing Yoga Poses

Energize your morning with these 8 yoga poses; this 10-minute yoga flow for beginners will open hips, release shoulders, and increase blood flow to energize your body.

The Workout: 8 Energizing Yoga Poses + 10-Minute Yoga Flow for Beginners

Flow through these 8 energizing yoga poses on the right side of the body and then repeat on the left side. Repeat the entire sequence as many times as you’d like. I like to set a timer for 10-minutes, while my coffee is brewing in the French Press, and move through these poses one to two times on each side of the body. 

No equipment needed for this low-impact, bodyweight yoga flow besides an optional yoga mat (affiliate).

  1. Mountain Pose + Open Arm Twist
  2. Forward Fold + Crouch + Curl
  3. Downdog + Plank
  4. Chaturanga + Updog
  5. Downdog + Crescent Lunge
  6. Standing Splits + Single Leg Mountain Pose
  7. Single Leg Mountain Pose + Dancers Pose
  8. Warrior I + Humble Warrior Chest Expansion
