The BEST lululemon jackets and sweatshirts for women! These transitional pieces range from the perfect work-from-home sweatshirt, a TikTok-famous athletic jacket, and the best water-repellent jacket for hiking and running errands. Size and fit guide included.
This guide is brought to you in partnership with lululemon. All words and opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that make Nourish Move Love and all the content you see on this blog possible.
Our team is based in Minnesota, which means we take our jackets and cozy sweatshirts pretty seriously. These are our favorite transitional pieces for fall and into winter (and they would be great for spring as well).
Whether you’re looking for your new work-from-home uniform, or want a versatile athletic jacket that can take you from outdoor runs to yoga class; you’ll find our honest reviews below.
The Define Jacket is THE classic lululemon jacket. It’s been around for years, and is still one of our top products today. lululemon has made some modern updates to the classic define jacket, including coming out with a hooded version and a cropped version.
The classic Define Jacket has been dubbed the “BBL” or “Brazilian Butt Lift” jacket by reviewers on TikTok because of its flattering silhouette. The jacket went viral earlier this year for being extremely flattering – we love it for running errands or throwing on after a workout.
The Scuba Half-Zip Hoodie is one of the most popular lululemon items. It’s the perfect transitional piece for moving into fall and winter because it is warm without being bulky and is easy to layer.
See below for our sizes. Size guide notes below are based off our personal sizes.
Size Notes: This jacket runs small and we suggest ordering a size up. The classic define jacket feels a little more compressive than the more relaxed Nulu hooded version, but we suggest ordering a size up in both fits (Lindsey and Rachel order a size 8 and Megan a size 10 in this jacket).
The viral lululemon jacket loved by reviewers for giving you an hourglass shape. We love this jacket because it’s soft, breathable and surprisingly warm for chilly fall days. It’s the perfect balance between comfortable and supportive.
This jacket is designed for running/walking, yoga and everyday wear.
Size Notes: Runs big, Lindsey sized down to a size 4 for a more fitted look.
Lindsey grabbed this sweatshirt last year to wear through pregnancy and postpartum and hasn’t taken it off since. This crew is oversized (AKA super comfy) but cropped to hit right at the hips (AKA, not so big that you drown in it).
This cozy crew also comes in an extra-roomy full-length version (the long length keeps the bum and hips covered).
Size Notes: The Scuba sweatshirts come in XS/S, M/L and XL/XXL. Lindsey and Rachel ordered XS/S for a more fitted look and Megan ordered a M/L for a more oversized fit.
The Scuba Sweatshirts sell out SO fast whenever a new color is launched. They’re classics for a reason, and their popularity isn’t going away anytime soon!
These sweatshirts are designed for lightweight warmth. It keeps you cozy, while still being lightweight and breathable.
Size Notes: True to size, Lindsey is pictured above wearing a size 6.
This versatile jacket is PERFECT for damp or chilly autumn days.
It’s not too long (or too short), and has the perfect relaxed fit for layering over sweaters and sweatshirts. This jacket does a great job of blocking the wind and rain without being heavy or stiff. This is a great jacket for hiking and running errands alike.
We also love that the hood can be zipped in to the collar of the jacket when you aren’t using it.
💜 NML TEAM FAVORITE: This is a new find for our team, but one of our favorite pieces! This jacket is both practical and cute – we’ll be wearing this all fall.
Size Notes: True to size, Megan wears a size 8 (her typical jacket size).
Bomber jackets are forcasted to be one of the big fashion trends this year, and this jacket proves why. It’s super versatile and can be dressed up or down depending if you throw it on over leggings or jeans.
We love that this jacket is lightweight but still warm enough for chilly weather, and easy to pack for trips.
Bonus: this jacket is reversible, meaning you get two looks in one.
Size Notes: Runs true to size – Rachel is wearing a size 6 (her typical top size).
Water-repellent and wind-proof on the outside, but super soft on the inside. This is a true “best of both worlds” kind of jacket, and Rachel gets compliments every time she wears it.
There are also TONS of pockets (both on the outside and inside of the jacket) making it great for traveling, running errands, or #MomLife.
