lululemon sets the bar when it comes to quality, fit and customer service. The brand has gained a cult following due to its signature performance fabrics, which are specifically designed for different intensity and varieties of workouts.
The lululemon Align High Rise Pant are some of the most popular leggings on the internet. Buttery soft feel and super flattering, these leggings are an essential for any woman. These are designed for low impact workouts and lounging, but these also are known on the internet for being the #1 pregnancy legging.
lululemon leggings are an investment, but one that’s worth making if you regularly workout or wear leggings as part of your everyday wear. lululemon leggings are built to last (each pair I’ve had has lasted me years) and in my opinion, the quality is well worth the price point.
The Align Leggings are made out of buttery soft Nulu ™️ fabric, whereas the Wunder Trains are made out of a more compressive and sleek Everlux ™️ fabric. The Align leggings are more comfortable for everyday/casual wear, but the Wunder Trains are more durable for high intensity workouts.
Best For: loungewear, as well as yoga, low impact workouts, and pregnancy/postpartum.
The Align High Rise Pant is THE iconic lululemon legging and a closet staple for any woman. If you’re going to purchase one pair of lululemon leggings, we recommend going with the Aligns. The buttery soft Nulu fabric is truly next level when it comes to comfort, and so flattering.
Caroline is pictured wearing the Align Pant with Pockets. This version of the Aligns keeps you hands-free with drop-in pockets that fit a phone or keys.
Sizing Notes: we recommend sizing down one size in the Aligns, especially if you’re between sizes. The Aligns come in 28″, 25″ and 23″ inseams. Caroline is 5’5″ and wears the 25″ length, which hits her at the ankles.
Best For: running and HIIT workouts.
The Base Pace Leggings are designed for runners, but we love them for HIIT workouts as well. The lightweight fabric is best described as that “just shaved your legs” feeling. It is smooth, lightweight and designed for minimal distractions so you can focus on your workout.
These high rise leggings are our go-to for sweaty workouts. They’re lightweight, sweat wicking, quick drying and durable.
Compared to the Wunder Train leggings, the Base Pace leggings are lighter and have less compression.
Sizing Notes: these leggings run true to size and come in 28″, 25″ and 23″ inseams. Lindsey is 5’8″ and wears the 25″ length, which hits her above the ankles.
Best For: strength training, hiking, hot yoga and spin classes/cycling.
The Wunder Train High Rise Tight is a staple for our team. These leggings have more compression through the waist and hips, providing more of a “hugged in” feeling and really good shape retention. This provides some support and means you never have to yank up your leggings mid-workout.
Megan is pictured wearing the Wunder Train Contour Fit. The Contour Fit features an adjusted hip-to-waist ratio perfect for athletic or curvy builds. The Contour fit is more snug at waist and has extra room through the hips and thighs. If you tend to experience gaping at the waistband of your leggings, try the Wunder Train Contour Fit!
Sizing Notes: these leggings run true to size and come in 28″, 25″ and 23″ inseams. Megan is 5’5″ and wears the 25″ length, which hits her at the ankles.
Best For: on-trend leggings for lounging or yoga/pilates.
Thanks to the resurgence of 2000s-inspired fashion, flared leggings are officially BACK and one of the top trends of the year.
The Groove Pants are super soft, and the most flattering flares we’ve tried on. Made with the same buttery soft fabric as the Aligns, these flares are a fun way to mix up your daily work from home outfit. The super high rise fit and wide waistband hits just above the belly button.
Sizing Notes: these leggings run true to size. The Groove Pants are also “tall girl approved”. Rachel is 5’8″ and the bottom of the Groove pant hit the floor. If you are more petite, lululemon offers free hemming in-store to make it your perfect fit.
Best For: yoga, low impact strength, and everyday wear.
The Ready to Rulu joggers are a great option if you prefer a looser fit in your bottoms during a workout.
These joggers are the best if you’re looking for something that feels like wearing sweats but looks a little more put together. They are soft and stretchy, and offer lightweight warmth. The drawstring waistband means you can adjust to get your perfect fit at the waist.
Sizing Notes: these joggers run true to size. Rachel wears a size 4 (one size down from her typical size) for a more fitted look.
