Whether you’re a barre newbie or advanced barre babe this at-home, low impact barre cardio workout is a challenging combination of strength toning exercises paired with low impact cardio.

the workout: low impact barre cardio workout 

This workout consists of 7 ballet-barre inspired, strength and low-impact cardio exercises to keep your heart-rate high throughout the entire workout. Perform 20 repetitions of each exercise below and repeat the entire routine x 4 sets.

All you need is a light-to-medium set of dumbbells {I am using 5 lbs dumbbells in the video above and I recommend 3-10 lb dumbbells for this workout}.

  1. Plank + Lunge + Narrow Back Row {10 reps per leg}
  2. Relevé Chair Squat + Curl
  3. Star Squat + Press {10 reps per leg}
  4. Lunge + Lift + Tricep Kick {10 reps per leg}
  5. Lunge Knee Drive + Wide Back Row {20 reps per leg}
  6. Second Position Shoulder + Heel Raise Pendulum {10 reps per side}
  7. Oblique Crunch + Punch {20 reps per side}

Repeat entire routine x 4 sets.
