As a mom who lifts heavy weights, I’m always looking for easy, high-protein snacks to help me hit my daily protein goals and support muscle recovery. This roundup includes my favorite Costco protein snacks, including fridge, freezer and pantry staples. If you’re short on time but still want to fuel your body well, these are the go-to snacks I rely on daily.
As someone who trains hard and juggles a busy schedule, I’ve learned how important it is to fuel my body with a high-protein diet.
I strive to get protein and produce at every meal. Having an easy, high-protein snack on hand helps me stay energized and support muscle repair and recovery after my workouts.
Consuming proper protein after strength training, high-intensity interval training and even low-impact workouts is essential. When you eat protein after exercise, it gives your muscles the amino acids they need to build and repair muscle and recover properly. It also gives you lasting energy to help boost your performance during your next workout.
I chose these snacks from Costco because they’re convenient, taste great and deliver high-quality protein without a ton of added sugar or ingredients I can’t pronounce. When you’re shopping for high-protein snacks, I recommend looking for options with at least 6-18g of protein per serving, made with real, whole-food ingredients.
