Are you scheming up your Thanksgiving menu in your head right now at work? if so, i highly recommend filling the appetizer category with these savory skewers.

brussels sprouts, cranberries and goat cheese {or cheese of your choice} and that’s it! just 3 ingredients and 3 simple steps to the quickest, most beautiful app you’ve ever brought to a holiday party.

start by marinating and roasting your brussels sprouts.

when the brussels sprouts are about half way done roasting add the fresh cranberries to the baking sheet and roast until both the sprouts and cranberries are golden brown {about 10 minutes}.

remove from the oven, let cool and start building your masterpiece app.

surpassing my expectations, these held together quite nicely with the help of a few toothpicks.

if you didn’t think brussels sprouts could be addicting, then give this recipe a try and report back {with a comment below} because i want to hear your results. i have a feeling this sweet, yet savory combo will leave you and your holiday guests with a handful of empty toothpicks because they are just that good.

as for you ‘type a’ ladies {i’m guilty too} who already have your Thanksgiving menu planned, save these red and green gems for Christmas. just don’t forget them because they are a savory start to any holiday meal.

    • Hi Lacey! Great question, you can absolutely roast the Brussels and cranberries ahead of time and then re-heat at or prior to your event and assemble. You just can’t assemble and re-heat or the goat cheese {or cheese of your choice} will melt. But you can absolutely make the Brussels and cranberries ahead of time! I hope that helps! Enjoy! xo-Lindsey
