Description
These easy and healthy Strawberry Spinach Sandwich are protein-packed, and can feed a small crowd or pack up nicely for work lunches and summer picnics!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 slices sprouted grain bread (wrap or collard green wrap)
- 2–4 oz deli turkey (1–2 thick slices, 3–5 thin slices)
- 5–6 strawberries, thinly sliced
- 1/2–1 c baby spinach
- 1/2 avocado, thinly sliced
- 1/4 c alfalfa sprouts
- optional: cheese of choice (munster or goat cheese would pair nicely)
Instructions
- Measure out all ingredients.
- Thinly slice the strawberries and avocado.
- Evenly layer all ingredients on top of the two slices of sprouted grain bread (strawberries, avocado, turkey, spinach and sprouts).
- Option to sub sprouted grain bread for a sprouted grain wrap or collard green wrap.
Notes
*Easily make this sandwich vegan-and-vegetarian-friendly by simply omitting the turkey. with or without the protein, this strawberry spinach sandwich still provides a great deal of substance while packing plenty of flavor.
