Things I Love and More {August 2015}

so here’s how it’s going down. i am going to share things that bring a big, squinty-eyed smile to my face. like 3 things i personally love right now, 3 things i’m currently working on {accountability goals} and 3 things for the fit girl in you.

3 things i personally love right now

1. my new underarmor cross training shoes. new shoes make working out more exciting…now if only my broken toe would completely heel so I can actually wear them.

2. flying. there is nothing better than grabbing a coffee and jumping on a plane with a good book. i love flying and the idea of 3-4 hours of uninterrupted time to disconnect from the world and just read, sip coffee, daydream in the clouds. lucky me, i have lots of flying in the next couple weeks – i just returned from a birthday weekend in Chicago and in September I’ll be traveling to California and New Mexico {travel with my by following my instagram}.

3. dare i say this, but the excitement of fall and all things pumpkin; like this amazing, purely elizabeth pumpkin fig cereal {pictured below, even better with Califia Farms Pure Almond Milk}.

3 things i’m currently working on

1. taming my to-do list. i’m a huge to-do list maker and well, i can get a little out of control, striving for maximum productivity 24/7 which is exhausting {and quite annoying to my husband}. i recently signed up for the proverbs 31 ministries taming the to-list online bible study {September 8th-October 9th}. if this sounds interesting, you can sign up too {click this link or the picture above to sign up}.

2. weekly scripture memorization. each week i strive to memorize one bible verse {four verses per month}. not going to lie, i’ve been slacking on my devotionals and scripture memorizations the last couple weeks; brining this back to the top of the priority list. this is also something that will be apart of my 30 day online training programs launching in Ocotober.

3. my 30 day online training programs. i’m so excited to share these with you, and i’m working my little tail off on them. filming the workout videos in the next two weeks…ekk! if you suggestions for what you’d like to see in a 30 day meal plan and 20 minute at home workouts let me know {email me at lindsey@lindsey.madetothrive.com or contact me here}.

3 things for the fit girl in you

1. coffee and heavy cream. these two officially go hand in hand for me. Why should you give this a try? It stabilizes blood sugar, helps with digesting coffee {slows down the rapid digestion of coffee and caffeine}, it’s rich, creamy and so delicious and adding this healthy fat will help keep you full and satisfied {pictured above with my favorite heavy cream, Country Dairy}.

2. scripture tanks. my new favorite workout tank hands down – cute, comfy and a classy way to keep my faith top of mind. these beauties are designed by my good friend Carly Dus, shop on her site, carly d design {my favorite carly d design tank is pictured below}.

3. choose a workout you’ll love based on your fav book. i love this blog post uniting gym rats and bookworms {two of my favorite things} by one of my favorite writers, Alexandra Franzen.
