salted peanut butter cup banana ice cream | www.nourishmovelove.comPeanut butter and banana go together like milk and cereal in my house. In fact, they are major food groups in my husbands diet. And I may sneak a bite or two myself.

You know when your husband or friend makes a snack and they offer to make you one as well, but you’re like, ‘no thanks i’m good.’ Then they sit down next to you and you just stare at there food till they finally offer you a bite. I’m notorious for that. And ask my husband, I don’t take small bites. So now he just knows to always make an extra for me otherwise I eat half his food.

My point being, this salted peanut butter cup banana ice cream recipe is one that you never make just one serving of. Avoid the fight for the last bite and just make two servings because your husband, roommate, or little one is sure to ask for more than one bite!

I know you’re familiar with the first three ingredients, so let’s chat more about the natural vitality magnesium calm, and why I would want to add it to this delicious banana ice cream.

Magnesium calm is part of my bedtime routine, especially after high-stress days. I typically drink the raspberry-lemon calm as a warm tea before bed as it helps relax muscles and restore cellular imbalances caused by stress. Not to mention, it helps keep me regular {seriously if you struggle with constipation, or magnesium deficiencies like 70% of American women, this supplement is for you}.

Adding natural vitality magnesium calm to this salted peanut butter cup banana ice cream is a great way to help you relax and make your bedtime sweet-tooth a bit more nutritious.

  1. I love banana, but not interested in salted peanut butter. It is unhealthy, totally 100%. Though peanut butter is a love of million people. And should we avoid taking salted foods as much as possible?

    • Thanks for the feedback Jack. I too love bananas and I also love peanut butter, and just like all real, whole foods, everything is ok in moderation in my book. I prefer to enjoy real ingredients in healthy desserts such as this as part of a balanced diet! -Lindsey

    • Katie! It’s so stinking good, seriously, like ah-maz-ing! And so easy to make! Hopefully you can enjoy a bowl this weekend! xo-Lindsey
