2018 Holiday Gift Guide #1: Five Items I Have + Love

I personally own each of these products, use them often, and love them! These are my tried and true top five products that I think any woman would love as a holiday gift.

  1. FitBit Versa {available at Target and on Amazon} — my favorite fitness activity tracker I’ve tried {and no, I haven’t tried the Apple watch so I can’t compare, but I do love the FitBit Versa}. I mostly use it for tracking my workouts, daily steps, and sleep patterns.
  2. Sorel SlimPack Lace Boots — BEST investment ever! My husband gave these to me last Christmas and I pretty much haven’t taken them off since. Clearly I’m exaggerating, but you get the point, I love these boots and between the months of October through March these are my staple. Warm, dry, practical, yet cute!
  3. Athleta Renewal Bra the comfiest bra. I wear this as my everyday bra, but it could easily be worn for a yoga or barre class too. It’s wireless and converts from cross-back to a standard bra. I have it in white, black, and nude; because when you find a bra you like you buy it in every color!
  4. Vooray Fanny Pack {under $20}so I’m officially a mom in my 30’s and I have a fanny pack. I vow to never make fun of my mom for wearing a fanny pack when I was a little kid because they are SO PRACTICAL! We travel frequently and let me tell you being able to have your phone, credit card, and a snack on you at all times, but still be hands is incredible. And Vooray has super cute backpacks too!
  5. Denim Leggings {under $30} –these are literally only jeans I wear! I discovered them in the DWS checkout line three years ago and have purchased three pairs since {one pair a year}. In my opinion, they’re a wardrobe staple — they look a little dressier than regular leggings, they have pockets, and they are so comfortable!

  1. Athleta LeggingsI’ve heard great things about the new seamless style leggings from Athleta — the Elation Uplifted ⅞ Tights. I’ve heard they’re very comparable to the buttery Lululemon Align Leggings {which are my current favorite for everyday wear}. I’d also love another pair of the Athleta Salutation Stash Pocket ⅞ Tights; the stash pocket is a game-changer for holding your phone at the gym!
  2. Crew Socks {3 pairs for under $10}because everyone loves new socks and these crew socks are the perfect pair to my Sorel SlimPack Lace Boots.
  3. Silicone Baking Mats {Under $10}two words, EASY CLEAN-UP! I love a good sheet pan meal, but I hate scrubbing pans.
  4. Athleta Flux Jogger Pants — they have awesome reviews and I love a good pair of comfy lounge pants that I can also wear outside the house!
  5. Gift Cards for House Cleaner + Personal Organizergifts that make my life easier, yes please! These may not be traditional ‘gifts’, but I would be very excited to receive them. I love a clean, organized house and I’d love it even more if I didn’t have to spend the weekend doing it! I’ve been wanting the ladies from Style + Dwell to come de-clutter and organize my house for months.

  2. Girl, Wash Your Face + Girl, Stop Apologizing by Rachel Hollis {under $15} — I listened to the Girl, Wash Your Face audiobook while training for my Haiti Marathon and I’ve recommended it to basically every women I’ve met since!
  3. Amber Oil Perfume {under $20}my signature scent! It’s essential oil based, and super subtle but probably one of the things I get complimented on the most! I started wearing this after I had my son, and was in search of a more natural perfume.
  4. Silicone Muffin Pan + Steel Frame {under $25}a game-changer when it comes to meal-prep clean up! Muffins pop right out of these silicon cups, no mess. And the steel frame makes it easy to put in and take out of the oven unlike most wobbly silicone molds.
  5. Health + Fitness Subscriptions
    1. Daily Harvest Superfoods — smoothies, harvest bowls, soups, lattes, chai parfaits and more! These pre-made and pre-portioned cups get shipped directly to your door for quick and convenient superfood meals on the go. My favorite gift to send new mamas! 2018 Holiday Gift Guide #4: Five Best Toddler Gift Ideas on Brody’s List

Toddler Gift Guide | Best Gifts for Toddlers | Gifts for One Year Old | Gifts for Two Year Old | Gifts for Three Year Old

  1. Magnet Building Tiles — several of our good friends have these and Brody seems to love playing with them every time we are at their house; ‘build a tower’ he says. Not to mention you can always pack a handful of tiles for on-the-go busy bags.
  2. Toy Dyson Vacuum — Brody is currently obsessed with my Dyson vacuum. In fact, if it weren’t for him pulling it out so often, I’m not sure I would vacuum nearly as much as I do. But my fear of him breaking my very expensive vacuum is what added this toy Dyson, that actually does suction, to the list.
  3. Grocery Cart + Accessories {under $20} — Because grocery shopping with mom is a weekly activity and Brody always wants his own cart. Not to mention it’s a great way to continue learning about food which is why I also added this color sorting food’s kit to Brody’s list as well.
  4. Kids Table + Chair Set — My baby is finally big enough to sit at the kids table. Although I can’t believe it, it’s time to get him and his little friends a ‘kids table’ at our house. And I’m hoping this will keep the markers and dauber stampers Brody loves so much off my wood floor and on a table {I mean a mom can hope right}?!
  5. SDADI Kids Kitchen Step Stool — I adore that Brody loves helping me in the kitchen and this kitchen step stool would free up my hands a bit from constantly guarding him to not fall off a chair or stool.
  6. Bonus — because these were mostly larger items, here are a couple, more affordable items on Brody’s list too:
