The easiest and creamiest homemade ice cream you'll ever make; with just 4 simple ingredients this salted peanut butter cup banana ice cream makes the perfect bedtime treat!
Ingredients
3 large, ripe bananas
3 tbsp creamy natural peanut butter
1 tsp sea salt
2 tsp natural vitality magnesium calm natural
optional: a splash of unsweetened almond milk
toppings: crushed peanut butter cups, roasted peanuts, and sea salt
Instructions
Slice the bananas into small chunks and freeze until solid {at least 2 hours, or best if overnight}.
Add frozen banana chunks, peanut butter, sea salt, natural vitality magnesium calm, and a splash of almond milk to a powerful blender and blend until smooth and creamy. This will take a few minutes and may require a tamper tool to help press the bananas into the blades. If you do not have a tamper periodic pauses for stirs will be needed.
Within 2-3 minutes, you should be seeing a thick, creamy ice-creamy mixture in the blender.
Once complete, stir additionally as needed and serve immediately.
Enjoy with additional toppings like crushed peanut butter cups, crushed roasted peanuts and a sprinkle of sea salt.
Notes
*Leftovers can be frozen, but I recommend running leftovers through the blender again before serving.
