Super simple, family-friendly beef burgers with a cowboy twist! You can cook these burgers on the grill or in a skillet, and top with BBQ sauce for a little extra kick.
  • 1 lb ground beef {85 or 90% lean, I used local grass-fed beef}
  • 1 tbsp seasoning {I used Paleo Powder All Purpose seasoning}
  • 4 sprouted, whole grain buns {or substitute gluten-free buns or lettuce wraps}
  • 4 romaine lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced {option to grill}
  • Optional: 4 slices Colby jack cheese
  • Primal Kitchen's Organic, Unsweetened Classic BBQ Sauce
  1. Mix ground beef and seasonings together in a bowl.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Grill or cook in a skillet until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  4. Optional to also add cheese + onion while burger is still cooking on the grill.
  5. Serve warm with toppings -- lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, and Primal Kitchen's Organic, Unsweetened Classic BBQ Sauce.
