boost your immune system or settle your stomach with this fresh ginger green smoothie. not only does fresh ginger have numerous health benefits, but it adds a super fresh flavor that complements the earthy green smoothie well.
  • 1 c water {or coconut water}
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • 1-2 thumb sized chunks fresh ginger
  • 3 tbsp hemp
  • 1 c spinach leaves
  • ice
  1. blend all ingredients together until you get desired consistency for drinking. {i add extra ice as i personally love mine freezing cold}.
  2. feel free to add these health superfoods to your green smoothie if you have them on hand as well {1/4 c aloe juice, 1 tsp bee pollen, 1 tsp cod liver oil, 1 tsp spirinula, 1 tbsp maca, 1 tsp of powered tumeric or pinki size chunk, 1 tsp matcha}.
*not all ingredients are required to make the 'perfect' smoothie {there is no such thing as the perfect smoothie in my world} use what you have on hand and play around with the ingredients/additions until you find what tickles your tastebuds.
