Barre Amped Workout {barre + cardio + weight training}

raise the barre with this barre amped workout that combines basic barre moves with high intensity interval and weight training; one of my favorite ways to workout.

although this workout calls for total body engagement in all three exercises, it’s designed to emphasis the burn in the leg and shoulder muscles.

start with the second position {or sumo squat} lateral shoulder reach overhead to neutral raise, followed by the squat jack with shoulder press and squat with knee pull.

i recommend 20 reps of each exercise x 3 sets:
second position lateral shoulder reach overhead to neutral – right arm overhead x 20 reps
squat jack with shoulder press x 20 reps
squat with knee pull {alternate right and left knee pull} x 20 reps
second position lateral shoulder reach overhead to neutral – left arm overhead x 20 reps
x 3 sets
